“More than those who hate you, more than all your enemies, an undisciplined mind does greater harm.” ~ Buddha from The Dhammapada
How true is that?!? How’s your internal dialogue? Are you even aware of just how much you criticize yourself? It’s pretty crazy when we really start to notice what’s going on up there in our minds!!
Of course, (as you know if you’ve spent any time trying, :)) training our minds is an incredible challenge.
Gandhi once remarked that this training requires the patience of someone trying to empty the sea with a teacup...
I say it’s time to get to work. I raise my teacup in a toast to our training. :)
(My top practice for this, BY FAR: meditation. You meditating? My life took a quantum leap for the better when I started meditating an hour (I started with a half an hour) every morning first thing. I *highly* recommend Holosync. (And, yes, I get paid to say that. And, no, I wouldn’t say that if it hasn’t worked for me. I’m on Day 125+ while typing this and I attribute my meditation practice (and getting up before the sun rises) as a fundamental practice I will *never* give up. And, Holosync was a huge aid for me. And I plan to continue using it daily well, forever. So get it if you’re feelin’ it. :)
